Overview

Liquidity Matrix draws the markup you would otherwise do by hand, and keeps it current. Order blocks are identified from displacement rather than from any candle that happens to be large, so the chart stays readable instead of filling with boxes. Unmitigated fair value gaps are shaded until price returns to them, then fade. Liquidity pools are marked where equal highs and equal lows cluster, which is where resting orders tend to sit.

The side dashboard condenses the read: current structure on your trading timeframe and on two higher ones, whether the last move was a break of structure or a change of character, and how far price sits from the nearest unmitigated zone. The lower panel tracks displacement strength so you can tell an impulsive move from a drift.

This is a decision-support tool. It does not place trades and it does not tell you when to enter — it shows you the map so you can make that call.

How it works

  1. 01

    Structure first

Swings are confirmed by displacement, then labelled as a break of structure or a change of character on three timeframes at once.

  2. 02

    Zones from real reactions

Order blocks and fair value gaps are drawn only where price actually left an imbalance, and fade once mitigated.

  3. 03

    Liquidity mapped

Equal highs and lows are clustered into pools so you can see where resting orders are likely to sit.

Signal behaviour

Every TradingVAI product states plainly how it behaves as new bars arrive. This one is classified as dynamic recalculation.

How this tool behaves on the chart

Adapts to new bars

Levels and structure are recalculated as new bars arrive, so drawings on the chart shift over time. This is how the tool is designed to work — it tracks the market as it evolves.

Order blocks, liquidity pools and the structure read are recalculated as new bars arrive. A zone can be added, extended, or marked mitigated after the fact, and the structure label can flip when a new swing forms. That is intentional — the markup tracks the market as it develops rather than freezing at the moment it was first drawn. Entry and invalidation markers are evaluated on the live bar and finalise at the bar close.

Questions

Do the order blocks move after they are drawn?

A zone is drawn once the displacement that created it is confirmed, and it stays where it was drawn. What changes is its state: it is shaded while unmitigated and fades once price trades back through it. New zones appear as new displacement occurs.

Can I turn off the fair value gaps?

Yes. Every component has its own toggle in the inputs, grouped by what it draws. Most traders start with structure and order blocks only, then enable the rest once they are used to the layout.

Which timeframes does the matrix show?

Your chart timeframe plus two higher ones. Both higher timeframes are configurable — the defaults are the next two standard steps up from whatever chart you are on.

Does it work on gold?

Yes, and the gold preset is the one most customers use. Gold moves further per bar than a currency pair, so the preset widens the zone tolerance and the displacement threshold accordingly.
